LeBron James reached this milestone in a tight win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers won the games 112-107 behind productive nights from LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
James posted 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists while Davis added 34 points.
This was LeBron’s 86th career triple-double, placing him 5th all-time behind Russell Westbrook, Magic Johnson, Jason Kidd, and Oscar Robertson.
James currently has 117 triple-doubles on his career, remaining 5th all-time but now sitting behind Westbrook(200), Robertson(181), Johnson(138) and active player Nikola Jokic, who has 136 triple-doubles and counting.
James finished the season averaging 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and a league-leading 10.2 assists. He went on to lead the Lakers to their first ring since 2009 and their 17th in franchise history, winning the Finals MVP.
